A Boolean expression may include [ ] but not ( ).
 
Examples of correct expressions are :
A and B A or B
A not B A and [B or C]
A or [B not C] [A and B] or [C and D]
not means "and not".
and not is not correct.
 

N.B. :

  • To search for the beginning of a word, type "..." after it.
    For instance, breath... will match breath, breathe, breathing etc.

  • Words of less than 3 letters will not be found.

  • Some words will not be found, either because they are too common (and...) or because they appear on every page of the site (page...).

  • A page can be found even if it does not display all the words searched for, if these words are "meta tag" keywords of that page.

  • This search engine has been developed from the (great!) open source freeware htDig.
